Welcome
We are Fundraising!
We are currently fundraising to replace the existing summer house in our garden.
Sadly, it has seen much better days but is still a fantastic space for our older children to gain new skills in preparation for school.

In the current financial climate, small businesses are finding it difficult to raise funds for new developments.

Our staff and families have given lots of their free time to support us in raising funds (particularly at the local farmers market).

If you have any suggestions to help us raise even more, we're all ears! Drop us an email at:

About us
We are a term-time only nursery open for 2, 3 & 4 year olds.

If you are interested in a place, please get in touch.
See above for our session times

We are open during the term time and offer additional sessions (during the holidays) in our sister setting (The Barn Day Nursery).
We are a small family operating in St Ives (The Barn Day Nursery), St Erth (St Erth Nursery) and also Birmingham (Headstart Day Nursery). Our aim is to provide exceptional education and care for our children; we draw on over 50 years experience teaching children and we are very excited for this opportunity to serve the community of St Erth.

We opened our doors in November 2018, taking over from the previous owners (previously 'St Erth Childcare Centre'). When children come to our nursery, they will flourish, grow, be nurtured and gain skills from our unique approach to teaching. We firmly believe that all children are unique and understand the need to tailor education to make learning fun and engaging. What our parents say:

“Amazing. can't fault the nursery”
“It's clear from what child says that the adults interact proactively with the children in activities during the day& talk freely about the adults in a good way. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful to us as a family generally and we are confident that they ensure our child is well cared for and safe throughout the day.”
“My child talks non stop about what they've done there; wakes up longing to go and runs in every morning they attend. Couldn't have a happier child. Couldn't be a happier parent.”
“Fantastic outdoor play, always go above and beyond. [my boy] loves nursery and would go everyday if he could”

“No all great, so much outdoor activities which [my child] loves, lots of opportunities to draw and be creative alongside lots of toys and dancing etc. [My child] loves nursery and I love the fact it is expanding and Joe is always thinking of more creative ways to make the nursery full of exciting new things and opportunities”

“We've been really pleased with the provision at St Erth Nursery and would highly recommend it to others. We particularly appreciate the desire to continually improve the site and resources, and the obvious passion and forward-looking plans that Joe and his team display. They're not just there to passively baby sit, but strive to be the best that they can be to progress the children's development. Thank you all very much!”

“I'm very happy with their teaching approach through play and I feel it suits my child very well.”
